Tea Kettle Redesign

I redesigned my tea kettle with an aim to refine its form to a more elegant, modern, and organic shape, allowing the kettle to stand out while retaining its core function.
I was inspired by organic forms and the watering can. The goal was to come up with a form that wasn’t typical of a tea kettle, but functioned just as well.
User testing revealed that improvements were needed in the placement of the on/off button and the ergonomics of the handle.
