Vases

Form Study

For this project we had to choose one object and design three versions that were based on different form inspirations. I chose to explore form with a vase as my object because the vase’s simple function allows endless formal possibilities.

The clay allowed me to explore the forms on a small scale to assess what they would look like in a 3D space.

The final models were made with foam which I spackled, sanded, and spraypainted to give a clean finish. The white models are only focused on the form and silhouette of the vases.
